in Nebraska
Stone came to faith at a young age through the strong example of his parents. He grew up homeschooled on a farm in Nebraska with his three older siblings and competed in football and wrestling throughout high school. His education at The Master’s University included a major in exercise science and a minor in Bible, and he worked as a personal trainer while in school. He hopes this foundation helps him disciple coaches and athletes. Sarah was also saved young and was homeschooled as the oldest of four while her family moved from Texas to New York to Mississippi for her father’s engineering work; she competed in power tumbling and gymnastics. In 2020, her parents sensed a call to ministry and later moved to California for her father to attend The Master’s Seminary before leaving for long-term missions in Malawi. Stone and Sarah met at The Master’s University in 2024, were engaged by February 2025, married that June, completed their final semester that fall, and moved to Nebraska in December. They are expecting their first baby in May 2026. Stone is grateful for the opportunity to impact athletes for Christ, and Sarah looks forward to being a stay-at-home mom and supporting the ministry.
