WE TRAIN COACHES AND ATHLETES TO COMPETE BIBLICALLY

Temporarily Concealed

In 1979, Cubs outfielder Larry Bittner made a lunging dive at a ball hit by Bruce Boisclair of the Mets. He trapped the ball, but not in his glove! In a frantic search, Bittner picked up his cap—which had fallen off his head—and saw the ball hidden underneath it! He grabbed the ball just in time to tag Boisclair out at third!

Matthew 12 – Ultimate Hope

Matthew 12 marks a turning point as the tension between Jesus and the religious leaders intensifies. The Messiah, though fully the King, chose at this moment to conceal His identity. He knew that the hypocritical leaders of Israel were already plotting His death. Yet, in God’s sovereign plan, the appointed hour for the cross had not yet come. Quietly, He withdrew from the area. Still, the crowds found Him. Compassionately, He healed every sick person who came, yet urged them not to reveal who He was—knowing that premature publicity would only fuel further opposition.

Jesus was—and remains—the hope of all nations, the One who will bring final justice and lasting peace. Yet His mission is not only global but deeply personal. For millions, He is the source of joy, the giver of purpose, the anchor of fulfillment, and the Savior who offers eternal life. He alone makes life worth living. He is our hope, our peace, our everything.

The Kingdom Coach and Athlete confidently rest and trust in Jesus, knowing He has both the power and the will to help us in our troubles. He is our Rock, the only foundation for a solid, meaningful life.

Bible Memory Verse – “For truly I say to you (disciples) that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” Matthew 13:17 (LSB)
