WE TRAIN COACHES AND ATHLETES TO COMPETE BIBLICALLY

Coming Soon

After Joe Gibbs led the Washington Redskins to four Super Bowls (winning three), the franchise fell on hard times during his retirement. But in January 2004, Gibbs returned from retirement, triggering mass enthusiasm in the nation’s capital. “If you’re a Redskins fan, (and) after what has happened with the team,” former fullback John Riggins said, “this is the second coming of Joe Gibbs, which is the second coming of the savior.”

Gibbs’ return did make some difference to his former team (two more winning seasons), but the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will make a colossal difference in this world (Revelation 22:7). He tells us He is coming soon! His coming is imminent! When He comes at the rapture to give Christians new bodies, it will be sudden, like the twinkling of an eye (1 Corinthians 15:52). At that instant, there will be no time to prepare to meet Him! As the Alpha and Omega (the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet), Jesus Christ created all things, and He will bring all things to their rightful destiny! As the Root of David, the Lord Jesus (Almighty God) created David, and as the Offspring of David, He descended from David as a man! As the Morning Star, He appears at the rapture just before He rises as the Sun of Righteousness with healing for the nations (Malachi 4:2)! He will shatter the darkness of man’s night!

Revelation 22 – Final Lap

Jesus Christ fully controls the universe He created and died for. He is coming soon! The final lap of a race is called the “bell lap” and is signaled by the “ding, ding, ding” of a bell. Today, we hear His warning bell and our pace is quickened! Christians become rejuvenated when they realize the end is coming soon! “Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20).

The Kingdom Coach and Athlete look forward to seeing Jesus as they seek opportunities to tell others about this good news!

Bible Memory Verse – “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.” Revelation 21:1 (LSB)
