WE TRAIN COACHES AND ATHLETES TO COMPETE BIBLICALLY

The Coming Celebration

Chicago’s massive parade and rally honor the Cub’s first World Series title in 108 years and fulfilled more than a century of pent-up dreams. The crowd, estimated at 5 million, lined Michigan Avenue and Lake Shore Drive to cheer the motorcade of open-roofed buses carrying the players along a 7-mile parade route from the north side ballpark to sprawling Grant Park.

Team manager Joe Maddon shouted to the crowd, “Welcome to Cubstock 2016!” he shouted to the fans after carrying the World Series championship trophy onto the stage. “This is an incredible moment for all of us. Never have I experienced anything like Wrigley Field on a nightly basis. I want to congratulate you fans also. Thank you for being so patient.”

Revelation 19 – Great Was the Praise!

Revelation 19 continues with an even greater celebration than the Cubs, which the angel started in chapter 18. As the long-awaited time of Jesus’ appearance grows closer, Revelation’s scene shifts from earth to heaven. The vast multitude rejoiced at God’s victory over “the notorious prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality” (19:2). The praise of the great multitude, elders, and creatures from chapters 4-5 celebrate His win over sin.

John witnessed Jesus claim victory over Babylon and the beast. Even believers today can find comfort and strength, knowing that Jesus will come again. This truth should motivate us to share this promise with everyone.

The Kingdom Coach and Athlete find hope and strength, knowing that Jesus wins in the end with the second coming of Jesus.

Bible Memory Verse – “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.” Revelation 14:2 (LSB)
