The St. Louis Browns suffered the worst defeat in modern baseball during the 1950 season. The Red Sox crushed them 29-4 on a day when nothing seemed to go right. Four Browns pitchers gave up 28 hits, including nine doubles, seven home runs, and a triple! The Browns must have been glad when their misery was over!

Revelation 20 – Satan Will Be Released

The misery will be just beginning for millions of souls after Jesus’ millennial reign. After 1,000 years of enforced righteousness and peace on earth, Satan will be released from prison in the Abyss and again allowed to stalk men on earth! Millions of children born during the millennium will simply go through the motions of worshiping King Jesus! They “wear His uniform” but never repent of sin and “join His team.” They resemble multitudes in churches today! Social change hasn’t changed their hearts. The best of times (or the worst of times) fails to change the heart of man. Only God’s grace and a “new birth” can change us.

Are you on God’s team today? Or are you just “wearing His uniform” by seeming to be good on the outside? Your church attendance, tithing, and good works won’t get you to heaven. Only repentance and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior will change your wicked heart. It is a terrible mistake to think otherwise.
