Encouragement
Louisiana nursing home workers received an encouraging word from their own “Geaux Tigers” from LSU football head coach and national champion Ed Orgeron. “Healthcare heroes at Louisiana nursing homes give their all to fight COVID-19,” Orgeron said in the video. “Every day, hard-working nurses, CNAs, and other team members care for the elderly in our nursing homes and provide high-quality, compassionate care.”
Oregeron remarked that throughout the pandemic, staff members have worked long hours and made many personal sacrifices to be there for the residents. “To each nursing home team member: Thank you and stay strong. To each resident in a nursing home: You inspire us all to continue to fight like Tigers,” Orgeron said. “Geaux Tigers!” he concluded.
Acts 27 – Encourage with Words and Deeds
The nursing home’s staff members needed an encouraging word, just like everyone on the ship with Paul. After many days at sea in Acts 27, the people had forgotten God’s promise to keep everyone alive. Some tried to get into the lifeboat and abandon the passengers. As they got close to land, Paul assured them of their safety, urged everyone to eat, and thanked God for the food. Paul demonstrated a confident belief in God’s promise, and his words helped them continue to fight for survival.
The Kingdom Coach and Athlete help others who face difficult circumstances by encouraging them with words and deeds. They use their verbal testimony and God’s Word to inspire others.

Bible Memory Verse – Because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes, both His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen and understood through what has been made so that they are without excuse.
