WE TRAIN COACHES AND ATHLETES TO COMPETE BIBLICALLY

Freedom in Christ

Joe Girardi won three World Series rings as a player with the Yankees in 1996, 1998, and 1999, and one as a manager in 2009. More than just winning rings, Girardi’s faith in Christ is what keeps him going. As the manager of the legendary Yankees team, he faces scrutiny from every angle. The ability to play freely and without worry is challenging. But Joe Girardi, believes the greatest freedom we can ever experience is eternal life through Christ. “Receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior grants us a freedom that you can’t imagine. Jesus doesn’t want you to go out and just do good works. He wants your heart, and from that place, you will go on to do good things for others.”

Exodus 12 – Doorpost

God demanded a blood sacrifice to cover sin in Exodus 12. The Hebrews didn’t sacrifice a lamb inside their homes because of the excess number of animals. They sacrificed because God told them to sacrifice! God told his people their firstborn child would be spared from His judgment if they sacrificed a perfect, year-old lamb.

Either you have the blood of Christ on your heart’s “doorpost,” or you don’t. The only safety in Egypt was found inside the houses with blood-stained doorposts, and there is no safety outside of Christ. Nobody is saved by being a “good” person, doing their best, or belonging to an organization. Only the shed blood of Christ can save us from eternal Hell.

The Kingdom Coach and Athlete believe Jesus Christ became the ultimate Passover Lamb when God sent Him to be the sacrifice to free people from the bondage of their sins once and for all.

Bible Memory Verse – “So now then, if you will indeed listen to My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.” Exodus 19:5 (LSB)
