Opening day is a thrilling time for athletes and coaches in any sport. The preparations, expectations, and fresh start awaken excitement in every competitor. We should be just as excited to read these first two chapters of Genesis.

The two opening chapters of Genesis provide a biblical worldview about God, the universe, and you. The masterpiece of creation was a human being. Man was made in God’s image to rule creation. When we were first created, man was like God because he was good and sinless. Genesis is the key to understanding God’s plan.
