WE TRAIN COACHES AND ATHLETES TO COMPETE BIBLICALLY

The Miracle Catch

On January 10, 1982, Dwight Clark made “The Catch,” which became part of the San Francisco 49ers’ history. The 49ers drove 89 yards at the end of a day that seemed hopeless. Clark leaped high to snare the pass that beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-27 in the NFC Championship Game. The game became a legend in the city, compared to the 1906 San Francisco earthquake!

Matthew 14 – Understanding Who Jesus Is

Events in Jesus’ life are moving towards a crisis in Matthew 14, but He is still performing miracles. When Jesus walked on water, He gave the disciples more insight into His authority and power as the Messiah, the Son of God. It is one year before His date with the cross. A large crowd walked around the lake to find Jesus. John records that it was near Passover, which would explain why so many people were on the road. They were probably on the way to Jerusalem to worship when Jesus created food where there was none. This miracle and others, such as Him showing the power to walk on water, helped the disciples to understand who He was and what He had to do.

The Kingdom Coach and Athlete, when facing an impossible situation, sees an opportunity for God to do the impossible. They lean on God to supply all their needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
